In the story 12 Angry Men 12 jurors have to decide whether to convict a young boy for the murder of his father. It takes place in a little jury room on a hot and humid day no one really wants to be there so they want to make a verdict and go home. Everyone except for one person votes guilty, this juror is number 8. He eventually starts to persuade the others to take a deeper more in depth look at the case. After a couple of hours more people start to question all of the evidence and they start evaluating what might have really happened.
Where we leave off the jury is liberating in the juror room. Hours later the jury comes out and they have their verdict ready. They come out and take their seats, the judge ask them if they have come to a verdict. Silence comes over the courtroom as the foreman gives the horrific decision GUILTY. The defendant is sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole. The young kid snaps and takes off out of the courtroom door the cops not far behind chasing him like some kind of runaway savage. Now the boy is running frantically he scared for his life, he says, "I'm too young to die." He runs into an old abandoned church and from there its up to the roof. He's on the roof feet halfway over the edge, he warns police that hell jump. He feels that there is nothing to live for he's going to jail for the rest of his life. He knows in his heart that he is truly innocent but know one believes him. He pulls out a cigarette the last one he will ever smoke again. The cops are screaming put your hands up, yelling and repeating it. It seems as if they don't care whether he jumps or not, he reaches for his lighter and at the moment one cop puts the fatal shot into the young boys Heart. He falls lifelessly from the church building.
The officer that shot him thought that he was reaching for some kind of weapon and took the shot. This didn't have to happen...
