12 Angry Men

There are several events that led the jurors change their minds so extremely and set the defendant free. Firstly, all the jurors believed that the defendant was found guilty, except juror 8. Juror 8 believed that the nineteen year old boy was innocent, based on his perceptions. So then, Juror 8 conscientiously explained some of possible things that would make the boy not guilty. Some of the jurors didn't want to hear more justifications about the boy's case beacause they assumed that the boy was guilty and wanted to send him to jail. They made another vote to make sure that everybody wanted to vote for guilty. But then the vote was ten to two. "[Juror 8] chose to stand alone against us. That's right. It takes a great deal of courage to stand alone even if you believe in something very strongly... Iwant to hear more..." Juror 9 wasn't convinced, he wanted to hear more details about the murderer's case. Secondly, Juror 8 gave a detail about the woman who witnessed about the murder. "All right...The boy was an experienced knife fighter. He was even sent to reform school for knifing some, isn't that so?" Juror 8 said. The boy has a problem because his father beat him up. His mother died. That doesn't mean the boy killed his father because of his physical and emotional appearance. Juror 3 was the last Juror who voted for not guilty because of the evidences that has been discussed. The vote was twelve to zero.
