Some unwanted reactions I might encounter when proposing my new service to the business committee are fear of failure, negative ideas towards the service, and finally turning down the proposal. Fear of failure would arrive from the committee not fully understanding the new service and blinding themselves that this service would be beneficial. The committee could react with negative ideas looking at the cup half empty instead of half full. Turning down the proposal would be a reaction that i would not want to occur. This reaction would cripple my persuasiveness to convince the committee that my service would be good for Digi Fast and other tenants in River View Plaza.
Some steps I can take to ensure I convey my purpose is to fully inform the committee on facts about the population of Portland and its growth in the past few years. This will support my proposal with statistics and provide assurance to the committee board that this service will be beneficial for River View Plaza. Being candid, honest, and supporting my service with facts will definitely allow me to convey the purpose of my message to the committee board.

I will be presenting to the committee board, on November 17, 2008, a new service that would be beneficial for Digi Fast and River View Plaza. The purpose of the presentation will be for the committee to evaluate my proposal of the new service and consider incorporating it within the building. Please feel free to call me with any questions or concerns. Thank you
