Your body quivers as you look down at the test that could determine the rest of your life. Is this some kind of multiple choice math test, perhaps and english test from class? No, not this time - this is a pregnancy test. Pink, or blue? One line, or two?
Pregnancy has become a much larger situation in today's world. Along with the "problem" as some would call it, comes more "solutions" - mainly used today are abortion and adoption.
Abortion is defined as the "any of various procedures that result in such termination and expulsion of a fetus that is incapable of survival." Now, how you would ever know that a fetus was incapable of survival is beyond me - only when a doctor has told you so. What abortion does is allow the mother - who doesnt feel that SHE is capable of survival if she has this baby - to dispose of her responsibilities in a manner that has become quite easy today.
Adoption, which is defined as "to take up and make one's own" seems to me to be a much better solution. Why not let someone who is willing to take care of your "problem" as so many say, take care and raise this baby that you didnt want? Some fear adoption because later on down the line, they feel they may want the baby. Sorry kid, i didnt want you then but now i do!
Abortion is wrong from all angles. Even when rape is encountered, it is a known fact that pregnancy from rape is extremely rare. A study of one thousand rape victims who were treated after the rape reported no pregnancies. There are no known studies of incest cases. Medically, we know pregnancy in these cases would be rare. As reasons for legalizing abortion rape and incest are nothing more than emotional screens used by those profiting from abortion.
So, if you're taking that test, consider the multiple choice answers ONE MORE TIME before you take action. These answers could change your life.
