Abortion
The act of murder is illegal in the United States. By definition, murder is the unlawful killing of a human being by another. There is a definite and automatic punishment that follows the crime, whether it is life in prison or the death penalty. Everyone, especially Christians, knows that killing a person is morally wrong. One of the Ten Commandments states that one shall not murder. Murder in general is something that is not taken lightly.
Let’s consider abortion. During the 1980s and 1990s, total abortions stayed about 1,550,000 annually, slowly decreasing in the 1990s. Note that the Guttmacher Institute, a branch of Planned Parenthood, reported that 10% of known abortion providers did not report. Adding 10% to its 1,550,000 equals 1,700,000. Live births have hovered just under 4,000,000. Therefore almost every third baby conceived in America is killed by abortion. This means that one of three babies will undergo one of the following:

He then inserts a hollow plastic tube, which has a knife-like edge on the tip, into the uterus. The suction tears the baby’s body into pieces. He then cuts the deeply rooted placenta from the inner wall of the uterus, and the scraps are sucked out into a bottle. The suction is 29 times more powerful than a home vacuum cleaner.
Abortion case #2- Dilation and Curettage (D&C): The abortionist inserts a curette, a loop-shaped steel knife, up into the uterus. With this, he cuts the placenta and baby into pieces and scrapes them out into a basin.
Abortion case #3- Saline amniocentesis: These are usually done after the sixteenth week. A large needle is inserted through the abdominal wall of the mother and into the baby’s amniotic sac. A concentrated salt solution is injected into the amniotic fluid. The baby breathes and swallows it,...
