Academic Dishonesty
Abstract
The American Heritage Dictionary defines ethics as “… a set of principles of right conduct” (The American Heritage Dictionary, 2005). This report is being submitted by Team B of GEN 300 in compliance with the assignment. It is a collaborative team effort and we have located and researched appropriate sources of information regarding the issue of ethics in an academic environment. Our report focuses primarily on what we considered to be the key effects of these acts on the individual, the school, and the workplace.
Poor academic ethics affects mainly the individual and it trickles down into the school and workplace. The effects of poor ethics affects all areas of one’s life so, we attempted to incorporate all of the three areas into this report.
