he Indians are believed to be the first people in America. After recent discoveries, the Indians were starting to be questioned whether they really were the first. Archaeologists believed Asians migrated from Asia on a land bridge that connected North America and Asia during the Ice Age. Ancient Americans had to use skills such as working in groups, develop a culture, and make efficient weapons to survive in their environment. Their strongest evidence of an Ancient American was Kennewick Man, found on the banks of the Columbia River, Washington. His bones dated back about 9,300 years ago and his skull resembled the shape of an Asian's, instead an Indian. Archaeologists also found a Clovis point lodged in Kennewick Man's hip, showing parts of what could've been his culture. The Native Americans were very upset about this find.
