English is not an instrument of English-speaking nations to influence the world. However, English gaining its popularity because of stronger economic and more advance technology of English-speaking nations. It just the same as in the past while Spain, France or Germany was the most advance nation the world accepted its language to be use as international communication. However, in these centuries England then after all United State has become most powerful nations in the world. The world switches to use English as international language. Moreover, if we are concerning on population Chinese might be the most speaking language worldwide, but Chinese characters are more complicated for non Chinese-speaking person to learn than just leaning English. I disagree with Tsuda proposal in " Japlish' leads to linguistic chaos" including statement that "English is being taught excessively". There are three important reasons why I disagree with Tsuda proposals there are need of using English in education, media and business.
First of all, English-Speaking nations are discovering and developing most of today technologies such as chemistry, engineer, space engineer and computer. As a result, most of up-to-date documents and books are in English. For non English-speaking countries, in order to get and learn these information as fast as they can, it is better to have a knowledge of English. Moreover, in order to develop skill in expert level, it is required other experts idea in term of discussion. To discuss with expert around the world, English is the most suitable language since there are numbers of technical words in English in such subject and most of experts around the world use English as native language.
