EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The Objective of this report is to examine the problems of my company which is B2B type of Export and Import Oriented firm, and the problems it is facing in context of timely obtaining the supply of raw materials from suppliers , problems in manufacturing, dispatching and maintaining there quality standards up to the requirement of the buyer, which is causing to loose the trust and reliance of customers and causing ultimately loosing business from buyers .
Here I have chosen two aspects of Operations Management   i.e. Supply Chain Management and Total Quality Management to confer these problems and treating them, which further I will explain in my report.
Here I have demonstrated how the use of SCM and TQM in various departments of the Organization can improve its effectiveness.
What we will going to know from this report is to keep minimum control and maximum suppliers to formulate an effective supply chain management concept while maintaining belief and relationship among the suppliers for getting better stock swiftness and stock appearance.
Further I have prove that how TQM when applied in every sphere of Organization can Improve the firm competitiveness, improve profit, and its every aspect.
SCM and TQM is very beneficial for every Organization weather its service based, or manufacturing based type of firm, without it no firm can increase its competitiveness in the market.
Here I have co-relate these two aspects to solve the problems more efficiently.
It is also very helpful in expansion of Business.
