Arabesque Review

Fight scenes, a beautiful woman, suspense, all the characteristics of a classic spy thriller, yet the 1966 film, Arabesque, failed to captivate like any of the James Bond series or either of the Mission Impossible movies.
The foremost detractor was the plot. Twists and turns in the plot keep the film interesting, but Arabesque had such a great number that it became mystifying as to what was taking place. Every second sentence that spewed out of Jasmine Yassir's mouth was a lie that altered the story completely creating perplexing and unfathomable plot twists. If the hyperbole of plot twists in the movie was not enough to ward off a four star review, then the immense number plot holes would have finished the job, Yusphef Kaseme and his involvement as a rebel leader against Mr. Pollock never being explained. Mr. Pollock gets stranded on the pole stuck in the bottom of the lake, a scene meant to be clever or cute, really was dim-witted and ridicules. Seeing Mr. Pollock......
