The following position for a Software Engineer I is vacant in the software department and needs to be filled as soon as possible. With the retirement of 1 of our senior programmers as well as the increasing workload with our latest contracts justify the need for this position. The search for the ideal candidate to fill said position will be conducted both internally, as well as externally. This position involves the development and maintenance of our clients' database management systems as well as making modifications and needed improvements and debugging software code. Currently, all our projects use the Java API and run on Apache. The ideal candidate has a Bachelors degree in either Computer Science or Mathematics with a solid background in both object-oriented programming and SQL. Filling this position will ensure that our company meet its current deadlines with both our long standing loyal customers and our new client base.
