Teenage boys vs. Teenage girls
All throughout their childhood boys and girls have had diverging values of one another and the way they live their lives. As teenagers they are faced with many obstacles that they must overcome, some face the challenge and others take the hard way. Their priorities change and personalities clash, and their outlook on life has many differences.
For teenage girls, growing up can be very difficult due to things such as puberty, popularity, and of course boys. I have found that most teenage girls choose a priority early in life and stick with it, hoping to fulfill their desires as growing women. For many girls, though school is a top priority, friends and boy friends are their main focus. Girls tend to have a deeper sensitivity then males so they surround themselves with friends who act as security blankets, or shelter from the pains of life.
Teen girls tend to care much about their looks. For them it is a constant competition, so every day is like a beaut contest. Once puberty hits, hormones kick in and this is when a girls true values are shown. The decisions such as sex, relationships, and honesty are where their morals are kept or broken. Girls of course always want to be "in with the in crowd." Many times they sit back and watch their friends drink and party and have to make the decision of weather or not it is for them. This is a period that all girls go through because they care so much about their reputation. This period of speculation may have a good or bad turn out depending on the personality. To make a long story short, girls are self conscious, and express their feelings and emotions naturally. They are sensitive and curious and each has a longing desire to be the girls that all others want to be like.
