BROKEN RELATIONSHIPS
Boyfriends come and go, but friendships last forever. On July 14, 2007. My relationship with my now ex boyfriend had just ended. He was a 6’1 football player dark and handsome. It all started with me just getting back from Chattanooga on the night of August 4,2004, and the very next morning was a very intense church service. Because our minister had just passed away. Minutes after church had ended the young tall gentleman approached me stating “Christina, I would love to take you out sometimes when your not to busy.” and by him approaching me the way he did, I agreed to go out to dinner with him. So dinner lead to more dates and on August 14th, 2004 we became a couple, not knowing that my life was about to turn into a living hell.
We started out as one of the best couples my high school had. We were very popular just because he played football and I played volleyball. I loved everyone knowing that we were together. However, football and volleyball season started. So both of us rarely saw each other. He was away at football practice and I was away at volleyball practice. As our season started both of us tried to attend each others games, and for the most part we did. My games were at three on Friday evenings and his were at seven that night. So it was not a problem for me. But as the season got deeper. We stopped hanging out as much trying to focus on school, dealing with sports, and of coarse being around our families.
As we endured into our first holiday together which was Christmas. We had planned to go out that night just to have fun and spend Christmas together. But while getting ready my phone rang, I answered with “Hello” and a strange gentleman asked to speak to me, I said “This is she who is this?”...
