Buddhism is one of the oldest religions in the world. Buddhism has some of its roots based in Hinduism, as well as many new ideas that make it truly exciting and unique. Buddhism continues to spread through out the world to people of many backgrounds and races. After so many years, this religion continues to fascinate and amaze us.
Buddhism has been around since for thousands of years. Many people are confused by the fact the Buddhism is considered a religion because Buddhists do not believe in a creator god or gods. "Buddhism is a path of practice and spiritual development leading to insight into the true nature of life."# Buddhist practice many different meditations using mantras or yoga or even both. They also use other forms of meditations to seek and develop goodness within themselves and the world. The Buddhist believe in impermanence, "This is the fundamental truth that all life is always moving, flowing and changing."# Today there are around three hundred fifty million Buddhists in the world.# Buddhism was recognized as on official religion in around 500 BC.
