Who has the right arrangement to help the United States economy? Would a new senator be making the right choice to help the financial system in the future? Would small steps be better then great actions for the market? These are some questions some citizens have for their well financially being. There are many assumptions people make regarding the outcome of this dilemma mostly, in regards of the next president’s plan vs. the mayor of Chicago.
When in a battle of any type, conquering strategies are better when they are being performed with small actions or to be more unexpected. For example, the Mayor Richard Daley in the city of Chicago is offering a budget plan that affects the city government employers. His plan is: a partial shutdown during the holidays which in one side it’s reasonable yet he did not think that there are policies the workers have to follow. When he mentioned the proposal to the laborers union local 1001 s they rejected the opinions with no remorse. The union stated that in order to take this step the city would need to analyze that they are going to be giving twelve days off work and not six like Richard Daley stated. He mentioned that in order employee to get holiday pay , he/she will needs to work a day before and a day after the holiday. This proposition will be held for at least four years in order to help the economy in which it will be saving approximately $469 millions. Not only that but he also pointed out that by taking this step that it would be saving about one thousand people from loosing their jobs. Which at this point this would help not only the economy but many other problems as well such as the citizens having the problem of not having financial funds to support their family. Yet not all the ideas that he presented are being approved, like increasing the overdue fines to be double for the public libraries, parking taxes on tabs are going to be increased from $2.25 to $3.00on $12 tabs and higher, or the Denver boot on cars...
