The movie "Clan of the Cave Bear" is about a tribe who adopts a young girl name Ayla

who unlike the rest of the tribe is very different, she has blonde hair and is learns things

much faster than they do. Ayla stands out from the rest of the woman in the tribe because

the woman are very subservient, if a woman should disobey the men of the tribe by

showing initiative, smarts or touching weapons they are sentenced to death. During the

the movie, Ayla touches the weapons to defend the tribe, and is sent away into the winter,

and is only allowed back if she survives. On her journey, she realizes her spirit is

different and leaves to find her own kind. The movie ties with religion because of it's

connection with acceptance and communal values, their faith as well as their rituals.

Religions are life giving, life guiding and positive. The positives about the tribes

religion in comparison to ours is the community helps support the beliefs and faith.......
