Learner Report

In order to reflect on my own skills and to asses my learning process over time I start comparing the skills and learning objectives from week one and six, say what I am satisfied with and what needs to be improved.
Concerning skills working with the seven-step approach the following can be said:
When it comes to the preliminary discussion, my skills didn’t change too much. I still estimated myself “sufficient” for clarifying concepts, and defining the problem is in week six “sufficient” instead of only “moderate”. Analyzing and brainstorming stayed the same (“moderate”) in my opinion as well as problem analysis/systematic classification. Also formulating learning objectives stayed the same as before (“good”). So one can say that I didn’t improve a lot in this sector. Nevertheless I think I tried to fulfill my learning objective saying more things in my own words instead of using explanations from the book. I am satisfied with my skills in clarifying concepts, defining the problem and formulating learning objectives because it is something moreover easy for me on account of the fact that you don’t need any previous knowledge. But I definitely should dare to speak up more when we analyze the problem and brainstorm, although I know, it doesn’t have to be right I usually have some restraints when it comes to new things we didn’t read or talk about before.
Concerning my self-study it can be said that I improved in general, at the beginning it was really tough for me, a whole new system another way to study and a lot more to read, but I think I adapted and it is getting better, since I got used to it little more. So this is why I think I got better at selecting sources of information, studying sources, and scheduling, only preparing feedback report stayed stable. But I have to admit that it is indeed still difficult for me to find time to learn anything that I read or wrote down by heart since there is nearly no time...
