Golf Marketing Plan
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Unlike golf courses or even some types of golf ranges, HT Golf will appeal to all types of customers with different types of abilities. Our specific target age group would be anywhere from age 8-80. HT Golf will have an area specifically for kids ages 8-15, ages 16-21, and ages 22 and up for instructor training as well as targets within the driving range designed for different segments of people. No matter the age, if a person is able to swing a golf club, then that is the age we are targeting and that it is how we are promoting our product. In addition, we are also marketing the business and differentiated it by its technology, which no other traditional driving range can compete with.
The game of golf is an international game and therefore the business has the potential to succeed abroad as well. However, we intend to market the HT Golf game domestically and if all goes well, there could possibly be some expansion to the international markets, specifically developed countries such as the U.K., Canada, France, Spain, and even the U.A.E., where the game has taken on a surprising following.
This is a sustainable idea because we are not competing with golf courses. We will instead be directing our marketing efforts towards competing with driving ranges, which can be very limited in their capabilities and often do not offer much new in the way of technology.
PRICING
Given that we are competing with driving ranges, our price cannot be too high, yet there is a premium people will pay for the technology and the individual experience. Our price will either be based on a membership plan (monthly or yearly) or a pay-as-you-go plan.
