First off, Motorola is known for its dedication to the environment with is expanding take back program (recycling old used phones). They are searching for new ways to use energy in order to create their products such as wind and solar energy. They are really going green, a patriotic act in today’s eyes. They continue to improve labor and environmental conditions in the production aspect of things. They donated $30.5 million to charitable associations, leaning towards the goal of expanding technology, science, and engineering in schools across the world. Their products are environmentally beneficial starting with their careful research of resource suppliers.
General Mills is known for its numerous products that provide a healthy and safe alternative to the junk foods of today. Starting with their $82 million donation to charitable associations, it’s clear that they have social responsibility and ethics at the top of their list. Their goals for the environment match their high standards including their proven decrease in water usage, energy consumption, and green house gases. They are known for their whole grain products consumed by kids and adults around the world. Their ethics come not only in their healthy product standards but in the advertisements as well.
