Concert Critique
I attended a performance last Saturday February 5th at Liam's' Irish pub in Colton to see a band called the Leprocons play. The band was made up of 4 members consisting of a drummer, a electric bass player, an acoustic guitarist who also was a volicalist, and a violin player who did back up vocals. Liam's' Irish pub is a small dingy dimly lit bar right off the 91 freeway in Colton, it was packed to the walls and fit about 60 people crammed together to watch the Leporcons play. The atmosphere was cheerful and loud as everyone seemed to know each other and as the band were talking to all the people in front of the stage before they started to play.
They were the only band to play that night so they took their time to set all their interments up and just as they started to play their first notes everyone started shouting and raising their half empty beer glasses and swinging them back and forth to some old Irish cover songs. Their first song sounded like some old pirate......
