Defining A Communication Plan

Defining A Communication Plan

Solutions and Results
In the first phase I chose the age groups 15-24, 25-34, and 35-44. The second of the two that I chose were optimal choices. But the first was not. The simulation suggested that I was creating a dip in communication by choosing more than two groups. I still beg to differ. The way I see it is the ages that I picked would be the ages of people that are still buying furniture. The age group 15-24 being a crucial point in buying due to this age moving out on their own and needing new furniture. For the age group 35-44 I would also see quite a bit of upgrading due to better positions at work and children. The age group 35-44 was a downtime in my opinion.

These are the people that are going to be more likely to splurge. If I was in charge of the company’s marketing department those people would be prime audiences that I would make advertisements for.
Phase two asks me to make a positioning statement that would key attribute that customers would look for. I chose comfort style and variety. As I assumed before I chose my 3 attribute I knew that affordability would have taken the place of variety. But the in phase one when income was talked about the amounts would have been enough to where affordability could have been...
