Globalization can be understood to be the connection of the whole world whether it be through money flow, goods and services, job opportunities, air travel and even communication. With all this involved, there will be many advantages and disadvantages of the system. There are two cons that I choose to focus on for this assignment.
Millions of Americans have lost jobs due to imports or production shifts abroad. This can prove to be a very frustrating occurrence for many local Americans. An example of this situation can be seen as follows. A manager of a company may be more inclined to hire an individual of a different country because of the main fact that some foreigners are willing to carry out the same task as an American, but for a smaller salary. The manager in most cases would hire the applicant who is willing to work for the smaller pay.
