In our daily life we usually ignore the complex function of our organs inside our body. They have various specialties in order to provide that human beings survive. Did you know that our organs create electricity which is measured through minor nanometers that we never recognize in our normal life? Eventhough this characteristic is never noticed it is used for several observations and researches. In other words, it makes much easier to simplify our life.  
Electroencephalogram, EEG, is a psychophysiological index to measure the electroactivity of the brain in order to mental workload.   Through electrodes this electroactivity is measured from neurons, the cells transmitting information in the neuron system [1]. EEG is a test which measures the brain functions. As the voltages of the brain parts differ from each other they can be measured through EEG [2].

Where is EEG used in the field of mental researches? It is generally used to determine the “levels of wakefulness or drowsiness”. As it is easy and comfortable in comparison to other methods it is more common to use it. For instance, the headset with wireless connection provides the user much freedom to operate [3]. EEG can be used in various areas. For instance, during pilots’ testing in order to get to know the performance in mental workload, several tests including EEG are done. Through these measurements the reactions of the pilots against different flying conditions are observed [4]. Furthermore, EEG is also a test for drivers. The researches show us that after 2 hours driving the reactions of drivers are changing which is seen through alpha-beta signals. EEG is an important factor to deduce such changes and the results of observations [5].
