Educational Philosophy Paper

My personal beliefs about teaching and learning are that there is no single way of

educating or education that is correct for every child, and as a future teacher I believe that

I must be willing to be flexible and adaptable to any given situation, utilizing my

knowledge of the various philosophies of education to create an approach to education

that will provide each student with a learning environment and a learning experience

that is best for him or her. Teaching is the most rewarding profession in the world today.

Seeing a student accomplish a goal that you have helped them accomplish is exciting.

Students learn every day about different things. It is our job as a teacher to help students

learn as much as they possible can. Not all children learn the same way, so it is our job

to find out what is the best way for that child to learn. Learning can be fun, but the child

and the teacher work at making it fun. Teaching is not a simple task and it is not trouble-

free, but I feel it is the most rewarding of all of life’s opportunities. I see teaching as a

way of helping an individual expand. Learning cannot occur without stimulation and

some amount of genuine care for a subject. Although probably the most difficult task, I

will pay most attention to making my students care about what they are learning. I

believe classroom experiences should extend into the students real lives. There are

always exterior influences that overpower the important of education, and I want

to show students that they need to realize the benefits an education can give them
