One sleepy Sunday morning in August, I got out of bed and went to the kitchen to make a cup of coffee. With my cup in my hand, I headed for the TV room where my favorite TV show was just about to start. When I switched on the TV, I saw big flashing words that said, "Princess Diana dies in car crash." On the day August 31, 1997, a day I will never forget, my favorite people Diana, Princess of Wales, died in Paris. She is the most successful princesses in history who is still remains in everybody's heart. According to TIME magazine online edition, as Prime Minister Tony Blair said, "She was the people's princess and that's how she will stay, how she will remain, in our hearts, and our memories forever." (15) Her glamour and style still captivate, her good works still bring comfort, and her smile, captured in endless news footage and on countless magazine covers, still radiates. My favorite person, Princess Diana who can never be replaced, always stays in people's heart with her beauty, her benevolence and her spirit.
No doubt that Princess Diana was really beautiful. She was the woman whose smile was warm and genuine and whose eyes where true blue. The cameras loved Diana's demure smile and fresh beauty. Her charisma and charm seemed boundless. It should be every girl's childhood fantasy to marry a prince. One as special as she with her charm and her simplest smile, she changed her life from a lady to princess. Princess Diana and Prince Charles were married July 29,1984 at St Paul's Cathedral (Princess Diana 2). The wedding was broadcast in 74 countries and watched by 750 million people worldwide. According to a website, Princess Diana, Diana was the first English woman to marry an heir to the throne in over 300 years (2). As the Archbishop of Canterbury said at the ceremony, "Here is the stuff of which fairy tales are made." (Princess Diana 3) Princess Diana became the dream princess of every girl.
