Introduction
If one has ever wondered how come Asia seems to be so much more united on so many frontiers? What is the core of all this activities and how dose it differ from the west? The core if the culture but the part of culture that affects it the most is Guanxi. But don’t the west have similar parts in there own culture and how dose it differ. Most importantly how can the hospitality industry use this tool to their advantage but at the same time is this culture at all socially responsible and be at all ethical.
Guanxi is the day to day process many of us might not believe it but, naturally many perform it regularly Guanxi is the way all use if relations and context and how they are to be used to the maximize potential to improve effectiveness and efficiency but how can the hospitality industry capture this potential energy and use it to their own benefit. What would be the effects to the industry and how will impact on consumers. If there is to be no control on Guanxi, how will it ethically, morally and socially impact on us. How can we prevent mineralize the fact and what remedies that we can give to solve this growing problem.
To live on earth is complex already but to live in a community there are lots of hidden rules and regulations that are in action if we know it or not.
