From The Beaches To The Mountains
I prefer the beach over the mountains any day. I can vacation anywhere I choose, and I choose the beach. I prefer the beach to the mountains because the beach has amazing weather and is so much prettier than the mountains. There are also countless activities that the beach offers over what the mountains can provide. The beach has more limitations when it comes to the landscape I feel more at home and comfortable on the beach opposed to the mountains.
The weather on the beach is so amazing; there is no feeling better than the warm sun on your shoulders. The breeze has a refreshing saltiness to it. The sand gently messages your toes as you wiggle them around. Granted the mountain weather offers a more stable environment; the mountains are beautiful to look at but the dry cool weather does not please me. When I look at the mountains I see the same thing dark shadows and predictable lines. The air is crisp and the feeling is cold and dull. I will take sitting on the beach looking out at the vast blue ocean, with ripples glistening and ever changing, over the mountains’ temperate cool weather any day.
The beach also offers countless varieties of activities that the mountains cannot. You can swim in warm and inviting water. It’s always a blast to play a great game of beach volley ball, and there is nothing more refreshing than a quick dip in the ocean to cool off. You can surf, or even take a wave runner for a whirl. Or you could bask in the warm sun while sipping a cool drink; you can even camp out all night on the beach. It’s all there, everything you could ever ask for. They do share one activity I enjoy which is fishing. The mountains offer very few choices in the way of activities. For one you have to take in account the weather; the season is very limited, unless of course you want to freeze. You can go camping, but be careful for the bears.
