“Legalized Murder”
Erma Bombeck said, “When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, ‘I used everything you gave me.’ ”( http://www.quotegarden.com/life.html) If one’s life was aborted, how could they ever prove to God, to anyone that they have talent? Abortion is one of the most ongoing controversial issues in terms of the law, morality and human rights. Prolife is the term most often used for the campaign and the advocates of the current abortion laws in place. As per Webster’s Dictionary the term abortion is defined as premature termination of pregnancy; a miscarry; something misshapen or unnatural. It would never be acceptable to murder a human, but it is okay to perform such a heinous crime on the weakest of them all, an unborn child. How can we as a society sanction the murdering of developing babies? Abortion should be outlawed because it is immoral, the methods are unethical, and a child’s life should be appreciated whether intentional or not.
There are three ways to rid someone of an unwanted pregnancy; they are as follows: dilation and removing, saline injection, and heteronomy. Dilation and removing the fetus can be done in one of three ways- with a vacuum that is 29 times stronger then the normal household vacuum, with a knife in the shape of a loop, or a pair of forceps.
