Case Study: Ford Turns Green with clean Energy

Vehicles have become a main means of transport in the US and have played their part in polluting the environment through gas emissions and spewing exhaust. They needed to come up with a car that would come in various colours, have a social responsibility that is, be green and also be able to economize the cars fuel consumption. It needed to come up with all the above solutions with manufacturing methods that would also not be pollutants to the environment.
By coming up with the new gas-electric hybrid Escape, Ford company has successfully met the consumers satisfaction by making the car green by having clean engines, different kinds of colours and “fuel efficiency without giving up safety, convince , and style” . With all the new improvements in the new ford models, the company had to also modify their way methods of production so as to reduce pollution to the environment and conserve energy. By having sedum plants in their manufacturing plant, this helped to improve air quality, prevent storm water runoff and provide a habitat for birds and insects....
