In each of our lives the time comes when each person has to make a choice on his or her career path. Among all of the working class people we have many different reasons as to whether or not to further our education, or to work our way up in a company. Many factors contribute to the decision that we as people make when it comes to our future. Most people need to ask themselves questions as to what they want out of life and what they hope to achieve out of life. These questions are not always easy for a person to answer. A person’s lifestyle influences what they choose to do with their career path in the end. A person normally chooses the path that he or she believes will benefit them and their family. Whether a person chooses to work his or her way up in a company or to further his or her education, sacrifices are made in either route that a person chooses to take. When a person is deciding what to do with his or her future, the decision can not be made quickly without taking all factors into account. A person needs to look at the advantages and the disadvantages either route he or she decides to take, whether it is furthering education or working up in a company. While working ones way up in a company can be rewarding, furthering ones education can bring financial stability, educational success, and self fulfillment.
Working ones way up in a company has advantages that can look appealing to almost any person looking to advance a career with minimal education. Many businesses promote from within their own workforce to make it a benefit to work for their company, compared to going down the street and working for a competitor.
