The Bead Bar is an arts and crafts company that enables its customers to design and make their own jewelry using various materials. The Bead Bar consists of several franchises all over US. Computers are influential in operating the Bead Bar, due to the nature of the business. When Bead Bar had a paper-based system, they were having a high rate of human mistake. (Malaga, 2005). The Bead Bar is wishing to attract customers from all over the world so they wanted to keep everything well prepared. In order to get to the bottom of some of the concern, recommendations were made by consultants to purchase computer hardware, software, and database management systems.
By using a systems development plan, the Bead Bar will be able to reach more customers. They should use a Database Management system to The Bead Bar. Database Management System can perform many functions like managing data storage, transform data into Information then presents it to users, providing security for data and having multi-user access. Databases can hold huge amounts of data. Companies use DBMS to store data on everything from customers to suppliers. (Malaga, 2005 pp 95). The Bead Bar has several franchises and studio branches. The Bead Bar is a large company and I recommend an enterprise DBMS for them.
