We will discuss areas of technology, Union relations, bundling services, outsourcing and competition within Global Communications.

Technology
Global is faced with several issues enabling them to keep up with the very competitive telecommunication industry. Lack of technology development is an obvious issue that Global is faced with. Global has plans to maximize profits by marketing internationally. The development of new and innovative technical product could also spell out success for Global as a company as it has for many of their competitors.
Global has existing issues with outdated technology services. The existing technical issue will have to be resolved before introducing new technology. Developing new technology upon existing issues could have a negative affect on the success of the company. Palm which is a major innovator of the SmartPhone is an example is this issue. Palm initiated a plan to enhance one of its products which had existing technology and as a result, the plan was halted, making a bad situation worse for Palm (Wildstrom, 2005). Teamed with creative innovations, technology development could yield a major turnaround for a company’s future. Global has the opportunity increase revenue by upgrading their outdated technology to spark the interest of new and existing customers.
Union Relations
