The purpose of this learning team assignment is to conduct a communication and commitment research and benchmarking study to identify potential solutions for Global Communications (GC). Team A will accomplish this assignment by completing the Generic Benchmarking Paper according to the instructions on the rEsource page. Members of Team A will identify and research two companies that have faced specific issues related to what Team A has identified in the scenario and connected with organizational communication, emotional intelligence, and organizational commitment course concepts.
For each company selected, Team A will identify the issue in the scenario that is also facing the company Team A is researching, discuss how the company applied the concepts in response to the issue and finally, Team A will discuss the outcomes of the researched company’s response to the issue. Based on this research, Team A will prepare an analysis that synthesizes the key findings by identifying the key organizational communication, emotional intelligence, and organizational commitment course concepts, Then Team A will compare and contrast each company’s application of those concepts for responses to the scenario-based issues.

The lack of communication between the senior team, the union, and other staff of the company contributed to the problems GC is currently facing.
