Global Warming
Global warming is a natural event that the sun originates in order for humans, animals and plants to survive.
All living things benefit from the warmth generated by the sun, but humans like other living things exploit their surroundings for resources.
In the beginning before agriculture was established, small groups of humans would wander across the land hunting for food – just enough to stay alive. Food scarcities meant low human population as well.
About 10,000 years ago human population on earth was 4,000,000(McEvedy and Jones 1978). Now humans have developed ways to stay in one region (predominantly by bodies of water) and/or travel all over the world by way of motor vehicles of all kinds. Also they have created an astonishing number of methods to exploit the environment to better provide food and shelter. Population has increased to 6,602,274,812 (U.S. Census Bureau 2007) most everything is invented out of necessity – the burning of fossil fuels has helped humans live and travel in comfort. But there is one problem – the earth’s atmosphere is been filled with gases such as carbon dioxide (CO2), nitrous oxide (N2O) and methane (CH4).
It is possible that humans are the culprits in the earth’s fast warming trend, because several greenhouse gases are being over- produced by the industrial revolution’s continuity.
Human activities are causing global warming to increase faster.
a) humans love to live and transport in comfort, consequently all over the world there has been development of industries like manufacturing( toys, bicycles, cars and clothes), mining(gold, silver and steel) , power generation( electricity and natural gas), that have been created in order to support humans’ comfort needs.
Automobiles are the personal way of transportation in many cities around the world, although it is convenient to drive an automobile to wherever one feels like going – the personal...
