I am a Duty Manager working at Singapore Airport Terminal Services which handles check-in and attending to passengers at the arrival and departure terminal , and my assignment involves writing about a project I wish to undertake so as to make my operations more effective and lean, in terms of operations and staff management. There are all together 06 sections in the assignment
Section 1 Title of the Project and a statement of the objectives of the Project. Explain clearly what you are trying to achieve, describe your action plan, what has been completed and what has to be done. Include a summary and outcomes
Section 2 Strategic Analysis Explain why the project is important to my organizations. What is the vision for the future and how the project contribute to this future
Use tools of strategic analysis to explain the current situation by considering the external environment, the industry environment and the internal capability of the organization
Section 3 You must tell the story of the projects by using as many models from the Diploma. What did you do? What are you doing? What problems did you encounter? You can structure this section using subjects from the Diploma modules as headings and elements from the service excellence competences, but you must include relevant models from the Diploma in their applied forms. Then consider hoe successful is the project and what has been achieved and give facts and figures using clear charts, diagrams and graphs. How will the project be followed up and what activities will you used to finish it.
Section 4 How has the Project improved your management and leadership? What are the lessons you have learnt from the Project. What would you do differently if you started it again.
