Hsun Tzu
Followers of Confucianism took their philosophy mostly from Confucius; there were other "sages." Mencius or the "second sage" held the belief that man is naturally good, and Hsun Tzu believed that human nature is evil. Mencius believed man is naturally good. He believed we originally have humanity, righteousness, propriety, and wisdom within us.
