The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is a novel written by Mark Twain about a young boy named Huckleberry Finn (Huck). This is a novel aquatinted with Twain's previous novel "Tom Sawyer". In this novel Huck runs away from Widow Douglas, Miss Watson and his drunken father who is just after Huck's money. While on his adventure of running away Huck travels to Jackson Island because nobody ever goes there. This is where he finds Jim. Jim is a runaway slave that belongs to Miss Watson. Helping a runaway slave escape is illegal but Huck decides to help Jim anyway and get on with their journeys together. While Huck and Jim are on the river heading south to the free states Huck encounters many important moral decisions. Throughout all these choices is where Huck's true personality is revealed.
One of these important decisions Huck faces is the choice on whether or not to turn Jim in. If he turns Jim in, he will get caught himself, since he ran away too. If he doesn't......
