From Hussein To Bush
From Hussein To Bush
Mr. President
This war isn’t between Iraq and the world but between you and Iraq. This war began because of your interference in Kuwait; this war will end when you retreat.
If I am responding to your letter it is simply to inform you the people of Iraq is none of your concern and threats are taken seriously. Also to let you know that what people say are not necessarily facts.
Any attempt of clarifications on “where you stand and are prepared to do” is unnecessary and not taken into count.
When we leave Kuwait it will be a decision made by me not the international community or the United States or the whole world.
In these terms a compliance with UN Security Council resolution 678 is not a choice meaning a peaceful outcome is not possible. Aggression is inevitable.
The choice is made. Negotiation is no longer an option. Iraq will not comply or be destructed and lost will not occur. Iraq’s future will not be destroyed.
Who the United States joins or hides behind will not be a problem. The war is not with the whole world but with the United States and there coalition partners. We don’t underestimate your power in numbers but you must not misjudge our determination for victory.
We may be feeling the effects of the sanctions mandate by your country however, other options while staying in Kuwait can and will prevent any tragic outcome. Further more if a terrorist act occurs from us, get the hint we are prepared for war. The price may be tragic for us but then again it can go either side.
I respond to your letter to inform you that the threats were taken seriously and to worn that this will end in aggression. No other options can be taken into consideration.
There is much at risk for all and your only option is retreat.
