This paper will introduce the issues and opportunities of Harrison Keyes. Also, the stakeholder perspectives and ethical dilemmas is mentioned in this paper. I will also discuss the right problem and describe the “end-state” vision. This paper will identify the alternatives and benchmarking validation and evaluate some of the alternatives. Identifying and accessing the risks and making a decision will be discussed also. There will be some tables that describe all of these solutions so you will have a better understanding of the solution. This paper will also evaluate the results of the problem and the optimal solution to the problem.
Describe the Situation
Issue and Opportunity Identification
The issue with Harrison Keyes is they hired a company called Asia Digital to digitize the e-book in the typesetting process for their project but the Asia Digital is under 5 ft of water and is out of business for the foreseeable future. Meg is leaving the company and is being replaced by a guy name Bill Guardo. Bill is not a fan of e-publishing but is willing to negotiate with the team if they can prove to him that the e-publishing is profitable. “Under most circumstances, the most profitable arrangement occurs when the customer’s expectations are only slightly exceeded” (Gray-Larson, 2005).
Another issue is the human resource department is getting employees coming to the office on a daily basis complaining about the confusion about their functions of the job and or the possibility of layoffs. The difficulties have been going on for almost 6 months now.
