Intersect Investment is a financial service that has sustained in a volatile industry since the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the United States. Like similar businesses in the industry, the company’s driving force is to retain and increase its customer base and credibility with Wall Street. A solution was created through the visionary goals of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The goals are to create a new customer intimacy/trusted advisor model, and develop a new brand image and products to achieve increased customer base, sales, profits and the company’s credibility. Accomplishment of the company’s goals will give Intersect Investments’ a competitive advantage and become number three in the industry again.
Intersect Investment’s solution is to implement a change management system to encompass effective strategies and programs that accommodate the new customer service model. Change management systems assist in organizational alignment and reducing employee resistance and turnovers. Dramatic changes effecting an organization needs active participation and persuasion to commit that is seen in transformational leadership. Benchmarking will assist in assessing how other companies have resolved similar problems as Intersect Investment.
