Among the many religions today, Islam has perhaps, gone threw many vast changes. To start, the first thing that one should know and clearly understand about Islam is that means "submission to will of God". Islam got started in Mecca. Mecca is the ruling tribe and city in the Hijaz region of northwestern Arabia. In the Muslim faith, the Ka'bah in Mecca was the highest point on earth and the polestar showed the city of Mecca to be opposite the center of the sky. As one can clearly see, many maps had different centers. Each map had a different center, each based on a different religion. The founder of the Islamic religion was a man named Muhammad. If it was not for Muhammad, Islam would never have spread and rise as it did.
Muhammad was born in Makkah, present-day Saudi Arabia in 570 C.E. According Kishlansky "Muhammad grew up poor and was also an orphan raise by relatives (200). He is the model for humanity of all walks of life to follow until the Last Hour. God sent him as a mercy for the worlds. Prophet Muhammad (an Arab and a descendant of Abraham) received divine revelations (The Holy Qur'an) over a periosaid that Islam, in essence calls man away from the worship of creation and invites him to worship only its Creator. He is the only one deserving man's worship as it is only by His will that prayers are answered. If man prays to a tree and his prayers are answered, it was not the tree, which answered his prayers, but Allah who allowed the circumstances prayed for to take place.
Traditionally, they lived on the Arabian Peninsula, but the language and culture of the Arabs spread throughout the Middle East with the expansion of Islam. Arabic is the language of the Qur'an, the holy book of Islam. Today more than 200 million Arabs live in nations around the world. Arabs constitute the substantial majority of people in Saudi Arabia, Syria, Yemen, Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, Sudan, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, and Morocco.
