Endings
Words that end in "o" are generally masculine. Their plural forms end in "i."
Words that end in "a" are generally feminine. Their plural forms end in "e."
Words that end in the singular "e" could be m/f. Their plural forms end in "i."
Words that end in "-one" are feminine.
Words that end with consonants do not change endings from singular to plural.
Words that end with accents do not change endings either, also "un cinema."
Motocicletta-Moto (F), Bicicletta-Bici (F), Aereoplano-Aereo (M), Fotographie-Foto (F), Automobile-Auto (F) do not change gender when they are shortened.
If the word ends in "-ca" (banca), plural ends "-che" (banche, not bance). If the word ends in "-ga" (targa) plural ends "-ghe" (targhe). Same with "-go" (albergo) plural ends with "-ghi" (alberghi). There are three exceptions: amico-amici, nemico-nemici, greco-grezi.
