Joan Of Arc

Joan of Arc
The movie Joan of Arc is the story of a young woman who goes on a mission to unite France under King Charles. This film tells the tale of how Joan becomes a leader and teaches civilians, captains, soldiers, bishops, and even a king the way to peace and prosperity. In this essay I will compare and contrast myself to Joan, explain the culture in the film as compared to mine, and analyze the end of the film.
Joan’s character throughout the film is a fighter. Joan fought her way through two cities to get to the Dauphin, Charles, and get permission to help lead the army and spread her spirituality. She also lives by the statement that if you do nothing to help people in need, then you might as well be taking more away from them. And to me, that statement is so completely true.
The culture in the film is a lot different than what you see today. The French way of life during this time period is very religious, and very intolerant. Their world revolves around god, because to...
