Latin America A Delicious Us Drugs
The Major 3 Periods of Intervention of the U.S.A in Latin American countries.
The United States of America has more adjectives than any other country in the world. The interesting thing is that those adjectives are can be the opposite one of the other. The United States is seen as a monopolistic, problematic, developed, war-oriented, helpful, manipulative, human rights protector, human rights violator, fair, unfair and cooperative country. It is an example for many, a monster for many others. Whatever the truth is, it is important to accept that it is today’s Super power in all the sense of the expression. They have great political-social-cultural and economic influence all around the world, and have the tendency to do and make countries do whatever they want to or whatever they need to. If not, well, they will find or even create a reasonable excuse in order to interfere in any government, regime, region, country, or island.
In the International Relations studies, there has been always a debate between the realists, the idealists, the radicals, among others, regarding which would be the best way to govern the world; whether in a unipolar, bipolar or multipolar division of power. They explain all their arguments and cannot achieve a common conclusion nevertheless they do agree that we are living in an anarchic world, and for them that is the reason of all the injustices, human rights violations, and wars that had occurred through history. Therefore, there was the need to form the League of Nations, today’s U.N. But the U.S has a veto power, and had already went against the U.N decision when they invaded the middle east. Therefore, it is important to asks ourselves, it is the U.N playing a governmental role in the world, or it is the U.S? I strongly believe that we are not living in an anarchic International System, we are living in a world ruled by the North Americans, or better said, the United States of America.
