The True Gospel
The preaching of the gospel has been the primary thrust of the church. As stated in the Great Commission, the gospel needs to be preached to all people. With such an important task, Apostle Arsenio Ferriol has remained faithful to the ways of the early apostles and disciples. The early Christians preached the gospel in all places, whether on the seaside, market place, and or in a chariot. Even in the face of strong opposition, they never relented in their efforts to spread the gospel.
Public Preaching
The church has been consistent in its goal in evangelism. Never a day passes by in the church without the word of God being preached. The church leaves no opportunity wasted; it takes every chance it has to preach the gospel. Where there are crowds of people, there is the preaching of the gospel. Apostle Arsenio Ferriol has defied the common thinking of other denominations that the preaching of the word of God is best left in the confines of the four corners of the church building. While unbelievers see public preaching as a desecration of the word of God, the church views public preaching as adherence to God’s will and an efficient way of reaching out to non church-goers.
The market place is one of the places that never runs out of people. One of man’s necessity is food, and everyday, there are people going to the market to buy food. Bringing the word of God to the market thus ensures that people not only nourish their body but their soul as well. The daily preaching serves as a constant reminder to people that man truly does not live by bread alone.
Street corners are also an ideal place to reach out to a large number of people. There is a large volume of people passing by and it is not that uncommon that a troubled or burdened soul finds solace in the word of God being preached. Many a people have found peace by accepting Christ after hearing the gospel resonating from the speakers in the street.
