Intersect Investment Services stands at a crossroads. Frank Jeffers, Chief Executive Officer, over the past year has identified a need to change the focus from a sales driven organization to one who seeks to add value to their customer base. Jeffers has taken the extraordinary step of replacing the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing in order to implement his vision. He is putting his trust in Janet Angelo to unite the organization and clearly communicate the vision and direction of Intersect to management and employees.
Intersect Investments will need to complete a critical analysis of the issues holding back the acceptance and implementation of Jeffers strategic plan. All stakeholders should be identified and their unique roles and responsibilities should be discussed. Finally, the end-state goals should be clearly defined and an optimal plan should be chosen and implemented.

Intersect Investment over the past seven years has lost some ground in the financial services sector. “Intersect Investment Services has at times barely managed to survive, but resisted making a drastic, strategic shift.” (Intersect, 2008) In order to survive, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Frank Jeffers instituted a new vision "Provide a broad set of products and services to consumer and small business customers using a model of customer intimacy that will build long-term relationships based on trust and value to the customer.” Unfortunately, the new vision has not been widely accepted and implemented. Jeffers recruited a new Executive Vice President (EVP) of Sales and Marketing, Janet Angelo following the dismissal of the former EVP for non-compliance.
