8. TOWS matrix. To formulate a comprehensive strategy the company needs to analyze its threats, opportunities, weaknesses and strengths. As a result a TOWS matrix will be drawn. This matrix will show what the company management should do and what should not. Also, the matrix points out those sides of the company which must be improved if the company wants to stay competitive. I completely agree that SWOT and TOWS matrixes are very effective way to analyze the company’s position in the market and figure out possible ways of development. TOWS analysis is a recognized procedure applied by most businesses in the world. TOWS matrix is just recommendation for the company’s managers who should analyze the obtained information and act accordingly. I think that referring to the TOWS matrix is strategy formulation is the right thing to do. TOWS matrix analyzes state of competition in the market, the market itself and the position of the company in it. Also, it studies the company’s opportunities in the national and international markets taking into account hundreds of factors (Hill, 2001).
TOWS matrix enables to see own mistakes and incorrect decisions because when one analyses the situation from all perspectives it is possible to see all weak decisions.  
TOWS analysis is the best way to set business on right course especially in the rapidly developing business environment (Saloner, 2001).
