Marketing Mix Paper
“Marketing is everything, and everything is marketing,” a quote from Regis McKenna.
Every where you look you are constantly being exposed to marketing, from billboards to logos on T-shirts. People market themselves when they are going for an interview; they are trying to sell themselves to their potential boss. Marketing is trying to create exchanges that satisfy both parties, the consumer as well as the company. When a company wants to promote a product thay have to follow the marketing mix which is the 4 P’s. Product Individual goods, product lines, or services Includes features, accessories, installation, instructions, service, warranty, packaging, and brand names.
Place
(Distribution) Getting the product to the customer. Channels, distribution systems, middlemen, warehousing, transportation, fulfillment, and shipping.
Promotion Communicating with the customer Personal selling, mass selling, sales promotion, sales personnel, advertising, media selection, copywriting.
Price Setting a price that serves the customer well and maximizes profits to the company. Price flexibility, level pricing, introductory pricing, discounts, allowances, geographic terms

You can’t promote winter jackets in Hawaii because it just won’t sell however you can promote bathing suits there. The company needs to make sure that their consumer wants that product and when they so purchase it they company should not change the product
