Mastering A Skill

There are some skills that virtually all people use each and every day. Then there are some skills that very few people have, but all people should master.   A skill that I believe everyone should master would be computer knowledge. What is a computer? A Computer is an electrical appliance that everyone will come in contact with on a day to day basis, whether you know it or not. Now let’s go even farther to what electrical appliances are. An electrical appliance is a device built to perform certain functions. When you go to the grocery store and check out, stopping by the bank to use the ATM, or even driving your car. In this day and age mostly everything is run by a computer someway.
There are many benefits to having computer knowledge. Well everyone that is growing up in this era will have some knowledge of computers, but they may not have a very good understanding. Also to account that there are many people that still do not have an understanding of computers, and would benefit greatly by learning. Like I had stated previously computers basically run our lives, whether it’s something simple as an ATM, cell phones, and even down to a digital watch. A computer is a very complex tool, and a person can do many things with them. A few examples would be you can use many of programs like Microsoft Quick Book, Excel, Word and many more. These programs are created to make a person’s everyday life easier. You can do as much as keep personal records, control other peoples computers with remote access for support, and other unlimited options with the internet. Another example would be in doctors’ offices. The patient’s medical history is being stored right in to the computer and on server so the doctor may access it anywhere. Computer knowledge will be a very important skill to master now, and in the near and upcoming future.
