Medievil
There were lots of wars in the Middle Ages. To be in the war, knights needed something to help them fight. What they had was weapons. These hand-made weapons were useful in battles, and also very deadly.
The fist standard weapon was the sword. There were different kinds of swords back then. All knight had swords in order to fight in battles. Maces were used to hit the enemy in the head or to pierce the enemies' armor so they would be able to kill them easily. Longbows were used to attack people from great distances. If the enemy was wearing mail, then the person would have to aim very carefully to hit and kill the enemy. A dagger was another reliable and useful weapon. If you didn't have a sword then
you could kill the person with a dagger. (What is a dagger?)

Objective: Were trying to figure out what happens to magma when it touches the land and what happens to the lava when it touches the water, and how it makes new land.
Hypothesis: I think the magma will spread and make cracks, and the lava will harden when it touches the water, and it will layer on the land.
Procedure: For magma, we need 1 tote tray, 2 containers with holes on the bottom for the soil. And 2 waxed filled containers. For lava, 1tote tray, a block of wax, container of melted wax, sheet of waxed paper, cold water, and some tape.
First we put the soil in the non-heated wax. Then we pressed down on the soil
The catapult is the thing everybody had. They used it to break down the walls and to make holes in the ground so when the enemy was running they would fall into it. The first catapult was made in Greece. But, the more fully developed catapult was later in the medieval times.
So with out a weapon on the battlefield well, you couldn't defend your self. Pretty much you are dead meat waiting to be eaten!!!!
